TFL’s Take: This is an unusual find: A Wrangler LJ converted into a Scrambler-like pickup ala the 86 CJ-8 Scrambler. It’s a conversion from GR8TOPS. Love it or hate it, the buyer will likely have the only Jeep like it for hundreds of miles around. Free shipping helps make this an attractive Jeep. Note: The seller, NOT TFLbids, will set up vehicle shipping.
* The mileage shown on this Jeep is 103K but we received a conflicting AutoCheck report that the Jeep at one time had 193K. Although this Jeep uses a digital odometer, that you cannot rollback, it is possible that the dash or gage cluster has been switched out so we are auctioning this with unknown miles.
Because of the Scrambler Kit Modifications the equipment list below is only for reference the when Jeep was built. There were several things that have removed and are not available with this customization. Example: no back seat, no full size hardtop, etc, please look photos over closely and ask questions in the comment section.
From the seller regarding the unique conversion:
The half hardtop fits over the front section of your factory roll bar and bolts to the top of the bulkhead to provide a sealed cabin environment for the front two passengers. No seat legroom is sacrificed with the XTOP halftop. With the hardtop installed, the seats slide all the way back on the sliders. The seat can then recline between 2 and 3 “ticks” on the recline lever. If you normally have your seats reclined more than that, you will lose some recline but no slider length. If the half hardtop is removed, you can still reinstall the OEM soft top or the OEM hardtop easily, with the bulkhead left in place or removed.
