Congrats to our winning bidder! That was some exciting bidding going on. If you fly out to pick up this Jeep and happen to be passing through Boulder, CO, let us know. We’d love to check out this sweet setup for ourselves.

  2. TFL Grant

Bids are coming in fast and furious. Pro tip: refresh your browser every 20-30 seconds to make sure you’re seeing the latest bid sooner rather than later.

  3. TFL Grant

Please remember that last minute bids reset the clock, giving the other bidders time to bid.

  4. TFL Grant

Final minutes of the auction at 4:58 Mountain Time. Bidders, you should see ~14 minutes to go.

  5. TFL Grant

SITE BUG UPDATE! The countdown clock bug has been partially fixed. You must be logged into the website to see the correct countdown timer to the end of the auction. This will allow us to finish the auction at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time today. We will continue to work on the issue so that the countdown clocks are consistent for everyone whether you are logged in or not. Thank you everyone for your patience.

Please remember that any time someone puts in a bid within the last minute of the auction, the auction is automatically extended by 2 minutes.

  6. Scott

Please explain the process for the winning bidder to receive the original title with the lien holder’s official release of lien.
I understand your earlier note about having to provide payment to the bank, and the balance to you. My question is about the steps for the buyer to receive the clear title at time of vehicle pick up. Thank you.

    • TFL Grant

Scott. If you win the auction, you may consider using an escrow service to hold the funds until you work out the title between the bank and the seller. That way you have peace of mind that the funds won’t be released until everything is copacetic and the seller/bank will see that your purchase is legit because they’ll see that you have the full purchase amount sitting in escrow.

  7. TFL Grant

SITE BUG FOUND, AUCTION EXTENDED! We apologize for doing this, but we discovered that bidders on the East Coast, Midwest, Mountain Region, and West Coast are all seeing different countdown clocks for this auction. On the East Coast this auction has already ended, while on the West Coast it has more than two hours left to go. In the interest of fairness and transparency to everyone, we’re extending this auction until at least 5 p.m. Mountain Time tomorrow (May 4) while we work to correct his bug. Until then, please do not refer to the countdown clock on the auction. We will post updates on the issue here in the comments as we have them. Apologies to all our bidders and our seller for this issue.

gear ratio – does this have the upgraded (4.0) or standard gear ratio?\
Its mentioned the cost w/b 68K. Was that in 2015? Or does that assume a brand new jeep and all aftermarket upgrades?
Can you segregate the Standard Jeep Package upgrades with this Package from the additional upgrades>
    Does this have AC?

    • Mr.White

Gear ratio on the rubicon is 4.10’s.

68k is what I have personally into the build. I’d imagine the cost of a brand new rubicon kitted out the way I have this one would most likely run you upwards of 70k+. (Depending which state you buy it from of course)

To summarize it in short, the rubicon is basically your top of the line trim package. It comes with all the off road goodies and has all the creature comforts the more street oriented Sahara provides. (Such as heated seats, premium sound system, navigation, etc.)

      Yes, it has A/C.

      Hope this helps.

    • Fjmwv

4.10 is an option for rubicon’s unless it’s a manual. Does this have that option?

    • Mr.White

Correct, the automatic rubicon’s typically came stock with 3.73’s from the factory unless otherwise optioned in, and the manuals came with 4.10’s stock.

Rest assured, she’s equipped with the optional 4.10 gear ratio. Wouldn’t of built the Jeep the way I did if it had 3.73’s. (Absolutely counterintuitive)

  11. BEL

Hi, Had a few questions. 1: Did a Vin check and it says the transmission is a 6 speed manual. Is the Vin number wrong on the listing? 2: Is the tow package from the factor with the transmission cooler? 3: Is the car a non-smoker vehicle? 4: Has the vehicle had any mechanical issues now or in the past? Thank you.

    • BEL

Vin Check was from under the vehicle specification section “transmission 6-Speed Manual”

    • TFL Grant

      Hi Bel,
Free VIN checks are often wrong as we’ve found ourselves when researching the vehicles we consider for listings. Paid services such AutoCheck or Carfax are more reliable, which is why we provide one with every listing.

    • Mr.White

That’d be incorrect, as this rubicon is fitted with a 5 speed automatic. You should be able to tell this from the pictures TFL posted.

Yes, tow package is OEM and I believe it has the transmission cooler. Only ever towed a small 5×10 uhaul with the rig, so I’m not too familiar with the towing side of things.

Yes, the Jeep also has a complete NON-smoker background.

The only mechanical issue I’ve ever had with the rubicon was a faulty power steering pump which was covered under warranty shortly after going out. Other than that, the only thing she’s ever needed was oil and filters.

      Hope this helps.

  12. Scott

Is there a branch of the lending institution near where the vehicle is located so they can accept a wire transfer with us in their facility, and then mark the original title as lien free?
If I are the winning bidder, I plan to fly out and pick-up the vehicle.
What state is the vehicle titled?
    Thank you.

  13. JohninSLO

If I win the bid can i go to Texas and pick up the rear seats?

    • Mr.White

Would have to work those details out with you down the line. If you are the winning bidder we can discuss this further. (However no guarantee)

      Hope this helps.

  14. asaleemeadows

Do you have any stock parts that are included, like the original grill?

    • asaleemeadows

      and the rear seats?

    • Mr.White

The rubicon came with an aftermarket grill when I first purchased it from the previous owner. Never got my hands on the oem one, but it never bothered me.

The rear 60/40 bench seat is in storage located in El Paso TX. However, I’m not interested in shipping it. (Astronomic shipping costs)

If the rear bench seat is a MUST for any potential bidders, you can find them online ranging anywhere from $300-700. Of course this depends whether or not you want cloth, or leather.

No other original parts are included.

      Hope this helps.

  15. Eastshore

Is the speedometer corrected for the larger wheels?

    • Mr.White

Yes, the 35’s have been properly adjusted to the speedometer with my superchips OBDll device.

  16. timlynch

This listing states that “Winner bidder will pay off the note to the bank to obtain the title and any difference over the bank note will be paid to the seller.” What happens if winning bid is less than the current bank note amount? Who pays the difference?

    • Mr.White

Timlynch- The current bid amount has already surpassed the amount currently owed to the bank.

      Hope this helps.

    • timlynch

      Perfect! Thank you.
