TFL’s Take: Some people refer to the LJ, which stands for Long Jeep, as the holy grail of Jeeps. Only made from 2004-2006, the LJ was essentially a stretched version of the standard TJ. It boasted an extra 10 inches of wheelbase over the TJ and an extra 15 inches of interior cab space. And they’re becoming harder and harder to find. This off-road beast provides more comfort and carrying capacity than the standard TJ, without sacrificing much off-road. And, because of the longer wheelbase, the LJ has an improved ride, and can tow 60% more than what the standard (short) TJ can tow.

This 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited convertible with just over 90,000 miles on the clock comes with the famously durable inline 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed automatic. AutoCheck shows six owners between Texas, North Carolina, and Indiana up until 2013, then one Indiana owner up until 2020 when the Jeep was obtained for sale here in Iowa. The Jeep’s AutoCheck history does show 2 accidents, one in 2007; the other in 2017.

does it have a rear locker? is it delivered to winning bidder?

It came from the factory with a limited slip differential, not a locker. No, delivery is not included in the winning bid. If you win the LJ, you’ll need to arrange to have the Jeep shipped to you at an additional cost or fly out and drive it back.
